Years of Experience:  I began teaching in 2007, At Alcoa:  My first year at Alcoa was 2013.

Education:  University of Tennessee (BA), South College (Teaching License)

Hometown: Knoxville, Tennessee

 

About me:  I grew up in the Fountain City area of Knoxville and have lived in East Tennessee all my life. I now live in Townsend with my husband, Larry, and 2 daughters, Ashtyn and Tessa.  Spending time with my family is my most favorite!  We all serve on the Townsend Area Volunteer Fire Department. Ashtyn works for AMR in Blount County and Tessa is a Junior at Alcoa High.  I also absolutely love to hike to waterfalls!  At this time, I’ve hiked to 57 waterfalls in the world.  

I love serving and being a part of my community that I live in, but I love Alcoa as my own as well!  I look forward to our time together this year!
