This is one of Mr. Jones's books from his "Power Series" that is published with Boystown Press, Nebraska. I have included the song and the dance to this book as well. Love all you Chick-a-dees!

good morning good morning good morning hi I'm kit Jones the author of the power series really Bohannon and friends that my students are asking why are you telling us your name mr. Jones well girls have a little bit bigger audience today that I'm rooting for the Boys Town press organization wanted me to read one of my books have the power Series so I have to answer I thought you guys have to introduce yourself that's the only proper in the right thing to do so if you guys are okay with it I'm going to read you a story about bull sure you're okay with it cuz it happens a lot throughout the nation and our schools but it is the terms used too much really it is because snow is Boolean wasn't girls I've got a video I hope you get to see that I did for my students it's called We Will Rock You a video about how we're going to rock those bullies not physically Rock'em rock is an acronym to help you decipher and differentiate the difference between bullying and maybe somebody being mean or somebody that just might be rude you know some people are rude they don't even know they're being rude okay there's also a little song on there we will rock you in advance that I think you may enjoy how to get a chance to see it but speaking of songs just going to be a song at the end of this story call hey what are you doing that's one of the techniques we use as a bystander and you say it in this book that a story I'm going to read to you you know Stewart's being bullied by the new kids come in Lane kiffin and Willy sees what's going on but nobody seems to want to stand up to the bully so there's going to be some things you learn today how to handle bullying yes indeed boss is also an acronym that will help you give you some holistic image so to speak on what you can do if you get in that predicament or if you see some it is in that predicament of being picked on a Boolean okay but the song is called hey what are you doing that's one of the techniques you need to remember if you're scared to say anything at least just ask the bully a question hey what are you doing put it back on the bully and see how they answer that maybe they don't realize it hey you know maybe I am bullying somebody you know what I'm doing well that's when you turn and say well it is my business when you're making my friend go bad or it is my business when you're making me feel bad I didn't mean to say hey I'm kidding and joking around when you say hey and I don't need it okay so that will be just a couple things you'll see in the book today and I hope you enjoy it I'm going to read I'm going to read this to you and I'm also hoping that you stick around and sing the song at the end include the dance called The Bully but you do need to get up and move you see the little bit anyway stead of sitting around playing video games all day long playing I'm just giving you a hard time but seriously we do need to have some activity and get your heart rate up a little bit so what better way to do that on the power of a positive the power of bystanders the power of bystanders Willie Bohannon in France learn to handle bullying like a boss it was late October but Gina Huynh really go hand-in-hand just received the progress report for his classes he had all A's and in the county championship game he threw four touchdown passes hello mr. Hammontree the principal of Beaumont Junior High in the small town of I'd like to tell you a story about a new kid who moved to town his name is Blaine kiffin most kids seem to like the new student who Moved In from out-of-state well except for Stewart he didn't think blank Jason was all that great I found out later they both live in Meadowview Apartments in Road bus 58 this explain why riding the bus everyday of something Steward with tons of hay one day at lunch it became very clear to Willie what was going on Blaine set with some of the crew while Stewart said hello gnome alone ghetto Stewart is wasn't acting like his normal self he seems triste sad it turned out that blank kissing was calling me names and bullying him pretty bad at first he tried to ignore him but that didn't help how he felt on the bus plinkett flicking him on ear and it left a big old red welt going to take that you need to stand up for yourself and scared but the next time blame bleeding he back down because he felt unprepared it got so bad that you do if someone didn't want to go to school blame is always putting him down and treat him like a fool one day Stewart walking to class Wayne tripping night in fall Federal are schools custodian saw happening told Blaine you have some gall mr. Darrell Lynn help Stuart up and told him that this was no time to pout going to keep on doing this unless you start getting a strong words out I don't like that. These are just some of the words you might need to say I'm going to tell mr. Jones School Elsa would have him cuz this is definitely not okay Stuart knew it was time to let the bully know he was tired of being harassed but the next time it happened Blaine knock Stewart's books to the ground laughed and just walked on past wow I don't think this is ever going to end maybe I should tell an adult who can help me out Blaine's name in the school counselors bully box he could help there was no doubt mr. Jones chicks the bully box everyday so Stewart knew he would get to talk with him to see what he had to say what you doing what you doing something out of the prize box in mr. Jones it's always fun but Stewart wanted to talk with him about his bullying into his surprise something has already been done mr. Jason bullying is a serious offense at our school and our victims always be supported mr. Darrell Follett school policy yesterday in the tripping incident has already been reported witnesses to the Boolean are very important when it comes to getting his problem to see if they are what we call bystanders and the key to bring in a mouthpiece send mr. Jones reminded Willie and the crew that Stewart was their friend and they could help to bring the continuous Boolean to an end your laughter encourages blame makes the tormenting worse it is up to you to help Stewart break out of this bullying curse mr. Jay also added don't you remember when kennel cough came to the school and talked to the students about how you should handle bullying like a boss I like this that show you can't put a price tag on how much a true friendship cost here's how you handle bullying like a boss standards of the deciding factor for success and a bully preschool they hold the key to stopping a bully and that's pretty cool you have three choices as a bystander joining the teasing such as Laughing to nothing help the victim open your mouth as a victim or by staring you can use your strong words to say hey what are you doing well that's not cool telling them for an adult albolene is another good tool stand up for your others if you see someone bullied and you don't want to speak up just put your arm around the victim and take them to another place or tell the victim hey I need come with me to help me with something just to create a little space stick together look out for your classmates and show them some love you never know when you might need help because friends stick together tighter than a glove but we took his advice and now use it as our Beaumont No Bully boss Creed it will help us overcome the harassment of Belen so we can succeed next time don't laugh State stand up and say that is just wrong cuz we want everyone in our school to feel like they belong another great way to show the bully it's your disapproving is to ask him a simple question of hey what are you doing will remember that day at lunch when he saw Stewart was in desperate need you realize that he should have been following Kendall cops No Bully boss Creed Beaumont No Bully boss Creed we are Beaumont school we are best not being a bystander to boo in this is our test if the victim is scared and forwards there at a loss remember I create and handle a bully like a boss the next day in gym class Stewart are ball in the basketball game started laughing in Colony Lane nobody else left and Willie Yale to Stewart you'll get the next when yo and then he jumped up and block plane shot sucking it into the Forest Road at the very tolling has got to go with each other unlock shocks he didn't think it was a big deal really knew he didn't get it keep it real homeboy Stewart he feels really bad Lanes did because everyone laughed I'm just trying to fit in why are you so mad I'm not mad at you blame this is just something you need to know if you ease up on him a little he will look at you as a friend not a foe you're living our school so you got to learn how we roll and fully free school is our ultimate goal Willie said hey man we all joke around with each other and that's okay but when you see you're hurting someone's feelings but what you do or say then it's time to he's ever stop and let that person know you threw oh yeah one more thing treat others are you on Tim's treat you Lane said I feel you willing it was wrong of me to get a few land stewards expense now that I think about it all the things you said to me make a lot of sense wellness and each other 5 million * we cool Lane replied you know it.
