I was born in Alcoa, Tennessee where I graduated from Alcoa High School in 1977. Later, I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Science in Education. I received my Education Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial. I have taught K, 1, 2, and 3^rd grade at Alcoa. My husband is Isaac Morton, and we have a daughter Shayna.
