Profile

My name is Anna Alloway, I am so excited to be your child’s 4th grade teacher this school year! I look forward to watching them learn and grow this school year and can not wait to see what they accomplish! Here is a little about me, I have lived in Blount County my whole life. I attended Maryville High School, and I am a recent graduate of Tusculum University. While at Tusculum, I got my undergraduate degree in K-5 Elementary Education and was a member of the softball team there. I did my student teaching at Alcoa Elementary in second grade and kindergarten and am so excited to be back in the system! In addition, I also have a Masters in Education studying Curriculum and Instruction. Aside from school and teaching, I am also the head coach for the Alcoa Middle School Softball team, and an assistant coach on the High School softball team. I also coach on the Intermediate basketball team. My other hobbies include going to the beach, traveling, and shopping! I look forward to getting to know you all and can not wait for this school year to begin!
