Amy King

Hi, my name is Amy King! I was born and raised here in East Tennessee. I graduated from Carson-Newman University in 2012 and then received my masters from Lincoln Memorial University in 2015. I began my teaching career in a 3rd grade interim position here at AIS in 2013. After my interim, I began teaching at Prospect Elementary School in Blount County. I have spent seven years teaching 5th grade ELA, science, and social studies. Alcoa has always held a special place in my heart and I am so excited to be back here at Alcoa Intermediate School! I have a dog named Moose who I love like son but spend most of my time with my several nieces and nephews.
