Hello and welcome! My name is Danielle Ivens, and I’m thrilled to be part of the incredible family at Alcoa Schools.I taught for 11 years in Chattanooga before coming home in 2025. I was thrilled to join the amazing 3rd grade team at AIS. I’ve had the joy of teaching students from kindergarten through fourth grade. I especially love teaching third grade as it is such a transitional and pivotal year of elementary school.

At home, I’m a proud mom to two amazing daughters—Marley (5) and Charlotte (2)—who keep life busy, beautiful, and full of laughter. Being their mom has deepened my belief in the power of a nurturing, engaging classroom where every child feels seen and inspired.

I’m passionate about creating an innovative and high-energy learning environment where students are motivated to think critically, take risks, and develop a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. I believe learning should be meaningful, fun, and full of connection—and I can’t wait to grow alongside my students this year!
