Hello and welcome! My name is Danielle Ivens, and I’m thrilled to be part of the incredible team at Alcoa Intermediate. This is my 12th year in education, and I’ve had the joy of teaching students from kindergarten through fourth grade. I’m especially excited to be teaching third grade for the first time this year!

At home, I’m a proud mom to two amazing daughters—Marley (4) and Charlotte (1)—who keep life busy, beautiful, and full of laughter. Being their mom has deepened my belief in the power of a nurturing, engaging classroom where every child feels seen and inspired.

I’m passionate about creating an innovative and high-energy learning environment where students are motivated to think critically, take risks, and develop a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. I believe learning should be meaningful, fun, and full of connection—and I can’t wait to grow alongside my students this year!
