Hello! I'm Mrs. Elly Mangum, and I'm so excited to be your third grade teacher this year!

I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Tennessee Tech University. I live in Alcoa with my husband, Caleb, and our two sons, Brooks (5) and Cooper (3). I was born and raised in Blount County and am a proud graduate of Alcoa High School.

I started teaching in 2021 and at Alcoa Intermediate School since 2025. I love creating a classroom where students feel welcomed, encouraged, and excited to learn. I can't wait to get to know each of my students and make this a fun, successful, and memorable school year together! Go Tornadoes!
