COVID-19 Resource Page

We have created this page as a resource for parents to help keep students engaged and learning at home.
On the right you will see links to each grade level's page as well as the specials areas.  Teachers will be posting activities on their pages as well as their Google Classroom pages for opportunities for students to engage in at home.
During this time, many resources that are usually a pay service are offering free resources.  We will do our best to keep this site updated often with new resources, so be sure to check back often.  Some of these websites may require a parent account to be created and possibly offer a pay service, you DO NOT need to pay for any of these services - we are simply trying to centralize FREE resources that parents can use if desired.

There are many resources students at AIS already use that are available through our Clever Login Portal.  Programs like iReady, Code.Org, MobyMax, Study Island and Khan Academy are available through this portal.
Students must click on "login with active directory" and then login using their school email.
For example:  Tommy Smith - and his school password.
Google Classroom is a vital communication resource from teachers to students.  Teachers can give assignments, announcements, links, etc in this platform.  It is a site that students should be very familiar with as it is regularly used as school.  There is also an app that can be downloaded for both Android and iOS on mobile devices and tablets.
Epic Books is a digital library of e-books, audio books, and videos that because of the current situation is now available for free from home.  Students can login through their Clever Account but will need their classroom code if they haven't logged in already.
Scholastic is offering some great daily lessons that incorporate videos, articles, games as well as at home activities.  These lessons are organized by day and are extremely well laid out to allow for independent learning.
BrainPop is a great resource that students are use to seeing and using at school.  Normally a pay service, they have opened up their site for free during the closures.  Students may know the school login and password but you can now sign up for a family account for use at home.
This site is known for their great videos on specific topics but it also includes games, quizzes, activities, and additional articles.
Visit museums, historical sites, national parks from home.  This is a great site that enables you to walk through museums around the world, view National Parks, visit art museums, etc.
Each teacher will be updating their page with specific resources and activities tailored for their classroom. Click below to access their page.
